Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare named Dana Beckton its inaugural chief diversity officer.
Ms. Beckton most recently served as director of diversity and inclusion at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Del. She has also worked at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she created a Diversity and Inclusion Executive Council.
Ms. Beckton holds a graduate degree in organizational development and leadership from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
