UT Health Athens taps C. Scott Campbell as CEO

UT Health Athens (Texas) hospital selected C. Scott Campbell to serve as CEO, according to an Athens Review report.

Mr. Campbell became interim CEO of the hospital in mid-March. He previously was CEO of Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart hospital in Panama City, Fla.

A healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Campbell has served as CEO at hospitals in several locations, including Lancaster, Pa., and Columbia, S.C.

He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
