8 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. Fort Bragg, Calif.-based Mendocino Coast District Hospital named Wayne Allen interim CEO.

2. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America appointed Pat A. Basu, MD, president and CEO, effective April 1.

3. Kerrville, Texas-based Peterson Health named Cory Edmondson president and CEO, effective May 6.

4. The board of trustees for Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport, La., voted to extend President and CEO James Elrod’s contract, despite putting a succession plan into place last year.

5. Brownwood (Texas) Regional Medical Center appointed Jace Jones permanent CEO, effective April 8.

6. Jennersville Hospital in West Grove, Pa., appointed Claire Mooney, DNP, RN, its permanent president and CEO.

7. Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health President and CEO Bob Rogalski is leaving.

8. Largo (Fla.) Medical Center, part of Tampa-based HCA West Florida, selected Adam Rudd to serve as CEO, beginning April 1.
