Largo Medical Center names CEO: 3 notes

Largo (Fla.) Medical Center, part of Tampa-based HCA West Florida, selected Adam Rudd to serve as CEO, beginning April 1.

Three notes:

1. Mr. Rudd most recently served as CEO of HCA’s Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.

2. His previous experience includes serving as vice president of emergency services and management engineering for HCA West Florida and COO of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

3. He holds an MBA from Denver-based University of Colorado.
