Over the past month, Becker’s has covered eight chief medical and chief nursing offer appointments, retirements and promotions.

  1. Melissa Fausnaugh, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio, effective Dec. 7. 
  2. Jane McCurley, DNP, RN, will retire from her role as chief nursing officer of San Antonio-based Methodist Healthcare in February. The system named Sherry Camacho, BSN, as its next chief nurse. 
  3. Jacksonville, N.C.-based Onslow Memorial Hospital appointed Crystal Bryan, MSN, RN, as chief nursing officer.
  4. West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health named Gregory Kennedy, MD, PhD, chief medical officer for oncology, effective in February. 
  5. Selwena Brewster, MD, has been named chief medical officer of NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in New York City.
  6. Decatur (Ill.) Memorial Hospital named Brandon Koser, DO, chief medical officer.
  7. Erica DiCicco, DO, has been named chief medical officer of McLaren Lapeer Region, part of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care. 
  8. Jeff Metts, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, Ga.
