Melissa Fausnaugh, MSN, RN, has been appointed chief nursing officer of OhioHealth Berger Hospital in Circleville, Ohio, effective Dec. 7.
Ms. Fausnaugh has served as the hospital’s director of operations since May 2024. In that role, she helped further integrate the hospital’s nursing services into Columbus-based OhioHealth — Berger joined the system in 2019 — while also strengthening surgical services and reducing reliance on travel nurses. She has spent more than 20 years in nursing leadership roles, according to a Dec. 10 news release.
Ms. Fausnaugh succeeds Gretchen Roberts, DNP, RN, who in November became CNO and vice president of patient care services at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus.
