Erica DiCicco, DO, has been named chief medical officer of McLaren Lapeer Region, part of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care.
Dr. DiCicco’s CMO appointment marks her return to the system, according to a Nov. 11 news release shared with Becker’s. Most recently, she worked with Optum as a regional medical director in Minnesota.
Prior to that, Dr. DiCicco spent several years practicing as an internal medicine physician at McLaren Port Huron (Mich.) In her new role, she will develop and lead strategy to advance clinical services, quality and improve physician engagement.
McLaren Lapeer Region is a 222-bed hospital serving Michigan’s Lapeer County.
