1. The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, Texas, tapped Phil Young to serve as CEO.

2. Blountstown, Fla.-based Calhoun Liberty Hospital appointed Charles E. Durant its new CEO.

3. A. Marc Harrison, MD, assumed his role as Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare’s new president and CEO.

4. Philip (S.D.) Health Services appointed Jeremy Schultes CEO.

5. PMH Medical Center in Prosser, Wash., tapped Craig J. Marks to lead as CEO.

6. University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock named Richard Turnage, MD, vice chancellor for clinical programs and CEO of UAMS Medical Center, also in Little Rock.

7. Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Alliance appointed Allan M. Spooner president and CEO of Franciscan Health Olympia Fields (Ill.) and Franciscan Health Chicago Heights (Ill.).

8. Jacksonville, Ill.-based Passavant Area Hospital President and CEO Doug Rahn will retire, effective Dec. 31.
