Allan Spooner to serve as CEO of Franciscan Health Olympia Fields & Chicago Heights: 4 things to know

Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Alliance appointed Allan M. Spooner president and CEO of Franciscan Health Olympia Fields (Ill.) and Franciscan Health Chicago Heights (Ill.).

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Spooner most recently served as president of Milwaukee-based Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital System’s hospital division.  

2. Prior to coming to St. Mary’s, Mr. Spooner was president and CEO of St. Rose Dominican Hospitals in Henderson, Nev.

3. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

4. Mr. Spooner succeeds Arnie Kimmel, who was recently named senior vice president of corporate services for Franciscan Alliance.
