The Hospitals of Providence East Campus appoints Phil Young CEO: 4 things to know

The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, Texas, tapped Phil Young to serve as CEO, according to an El Paso Times report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Most recently, Mr. Young was CEO of transitional facilities for Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health.

2. Prior to that, he was CEO and market president of LifePoint’s Southern Tennessee Regional Health System, based in Winchester.

3. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Houston.

4. He succeeds Nicholas Tejeda, who left to serve as CEO of The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus in El Paso.
