Jacksonville, Ill.-based Passavant Area Hospital President and CEO Doug Rahn will retire, effective Dec. 31.

1. Mr. Rahn has served at the helm of the hospital, a Springfield, Ill.-based Memorial Health System affiliate, since April 2014.
2. Prior to that, he served as executive vice president and COO of Memorial Health System.
3. He has also previously served as senior vice president and COO of Leesburg (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.
4. During Mr. Rahn's tenure as CEO, the hospital added and expanded numerous patient care services as well as lymphedema clinics and the behavioral health unit.
