6 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. Gene Green, MD, the suspended president and CEO of South Shore Health in South Weymouth, Mass., will not be returning to the role.

2. Lexington, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare tapped Tim Hatfield to serve as community CEO of the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.

3. Richmond-based HCA Virginia appointed Ryan Jensen CEO of three hospitals, effective Nov. 1.

4. New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System selected Fernis LeBlanc to serve as CEO of Ochsner St. Mary in Morgan City, La.

5. Greenwood (Miss.) Leflore Hospital appointed Gary Marchand to serve as interim CEO.

6. Jim Watson, president and CEO of Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, N.Y., plans to retire in February 2020.
