Mr. Marchand stepped down as president and CEO of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport (Miss.) in 2018. He worked at the hospital for more than 26 years, including 12 as CFO. He has also served as vice president of finance at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans.
He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was appointed to the Mississippi Health Solutions Institute board by Gov. Phil Bryant.
He is the second interim CEO of Greenwood Leflore Hospital after the board voted to remove Jim Jackson from the CEO role last year.
