Mr. Watson has served on the hospital leadership team since February 2016. The hospital is a part of Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cayuga Health System.
Mr. Watson previously was president of Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital in Bath, N.Y., and CEO of Massena (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital. He has served on the Healthcare Association of New York State’s board of directors and is a past president of the Rochester Regional Healthcare Association.
Rebecca Gould, CFO of Schuyler Hospital, will become its president in February 2020. She will step into the COO first, effective Oct. 14, per the transition plan.
Ms. Gould holds an MBA from State University of New York Empire State College in Saratoga Springs.
