- Sonney Sapra stepped down from his role as chief digital and information officer at Corvallis, Ore.-based Samaritan Health Services in December.
- Mike Angelakos, DrPH, stepped down from the CIO role at Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger to become CIO of Atlanta-based Piedmont Healthcare.
- Inderpal Kohli, CIO of Englewood (N.J.) Health, left the health system to join Healthix, a public health information exchange based in St. James, N.Y.
- Bradd Busick, CIO of Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System, announced in a LinkedIn post that he is leaving the organization.
- Ellen Pollack, MSN, RN, has retired as CIO of Los Angeles-based UCLA Health. Ms. Pollack stepped down in June, a health system spokesperson told Becker’s. Ms. Pollack started at the health system in 1993.
- Alistair Erskine, MD, has stepped down as senior vice president, CIO and chief digital officer of Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare and Emory University to become chief information officer of Pittsburgh-based Highmark Health.
- Amar Nagaram has left his role as CIO of Indiana University Health to become chief information officer at the Medical University of South Carolina and MUSC Health.
- R. Hal Baker, MD, the longtime CIO of York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health, retired in July.
- Ben Patel had left his role as CIO at Cone Health in Greensboro, N.C., to join Cincinnati-based UC Health as its new vice president and chief technology officer.
- Joel Klein, MD, senior vice president and CIO of University of Maryland Medical System, will leave his role effective Sept. 15 to become chief digital information officer at Hackensack Meridian Health in Edison, N.J.
