8 recent chief medical, nursing officer moves

Eight chief medical and nursing officer moves Becker's has covered since Jan. 20: 

Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., announced Jan. 19 that Gretchen McCullough, MSN, RN, will become the new chief nursing officer of its Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital. Her appointment is effective March 6.

Effective Feb. 16, Barbara Kinder, BSN, RN, will serve as chief nursing officer of Georgetown (Ky.) Community Hospital and Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles, Ky.

Debbie Guido-Allen, RN, has been named president of Corewell Health Dearborn (Mich.) Hospital, a Jan. 26 article in Press & Guide stated. She will move to the role from her current position as the interim president of Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich. She is the former CNO at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy (Mich.) Hospital. 

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, Wash., has appointed Kelly Allen, MSN, RN, as its new chief nursing officer. Ms. Allen played a crucial role in leading the organization through the challenges of COVID-19, serving in her previous capacity as the system's director of urgent and emergent services, a Jan. 26 article in the Columbia Basin Herald stated.

Unity Health Care, based in Washington, D.C., chose Stephanie Cox-Batson, MD, as its chief medical officer on Jan. 25. 

UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir, N.C., has tapped Jerrell Suddreth, BSN, RN, as its chief nursing officer, the hospital said Jan. 20.

Arabinda Pani, MD, was named chief medical officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, effective Jan. 2.

Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Ky., has named Crystal Kincaid, DPM, as its new chief medical officer. The announcement came over the weekend in a Jan. 21 press release published in The Winchester Sun, though her appointment to the role began Jan. 1.
