New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health named Sanjay Saint, MD, senior vice president of the health system’s internal medicine department.
Dr. Saint will also serve as chair of the Department of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, according to a Sept. 1 health system news release.
He previously served as vice chair of internal medicine at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor and chief of medicine at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. He worked at both systems since 1998.
