Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, which operates 189 hospitals and about 2,600 ambulatory sites in 19 states and the United Kingdom, has named new CEOs at six of its hospitals since Sept. 1.
Here are the moves:
1. Sean Patterson is no longer CEO of Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital. Chief Nursing Officer Michelle Dodd, PhD, RN, was named interim CEO.
2. Wendy McClain was named CEO of West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho.
3. Mike Hoyt was appointed CEO of Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital.
4. Paul Smith was named CEO of Parkridge Valley Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.
5. Ben Brown was named CEO of StoneSprings Hospital Center in Sterling, Va. HCA brought him back after he served there as COO.
6. Michael Hanson was named CEO of HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver.
