Mike Hoyt has been appointed CEO of Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital, an affiliate of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
Mr. Hoyt has served as the hospital COO since 2024 and most recently as interim CEO, according to a Sept. 14 hospital news release.
As COO, Mr. Hoyt led operational departments across the 542-bed hospital. He also helped plan the hospital’s seismic compliance efforts, including plans for a new 11-story tower and parking garage.
Mr. Hoyt joined HCA Healthcare in 2021 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. He later served as vice president of operations at Swedish Medical Center in Denver.
