Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Robert Letson, CEO of South Peninsula Hospital in Homer Ark., is retiring in June 2018.

2. Mercy Hospital St. Louis named Steve Mackin president.

3. Muskegon, Mich.-based Mercy Health named Kelly Smith regional chief strategy officer.

4. Lenoir, N.C.-based Caldwell UNC Health Care selected David Lowry, MD, to serve as CMO.

5. Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti, Mo., named Jim Marshall CEO and administrator.

6. Mount Clemens, Mich.-based McLaren Macomb, a 288-bed acute care hospital, selected Julia Libcke, DNP, RN, for CNO.

7. Brewer-based Eastern Maine Health System named John Ronan president of Blue Hill (Maine) Memorial Hospital and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth.

8. William Webster, president and CEO of Medical Center Health System in Odessa, Texas, is retiring, effective January 2018.

9. Doctors Hospital of Sarasota (Fla.) selected Wyatt Chocklett as its new COO.

10. Indianapolis-based Eskenazi Health named Neil Johnson COO.

11. Longmont (Colo.) United Hospital President and CEO Mitchell Carson is stepping down, after leading the two-year transition to the hospital's new parent, Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health.

12. Houston-based CHI St. Luke's Health CEO Michael Covert, who tendered his resignation in late June, will be staying in the role under his successor is appointed.

13. Hackensack Meridian Health's Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, N.J., named Valerie Allusson, MD, CMO.
