21 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Kerrie Guerrero, DNP, RN, MSN, was named vice president and CNO of Houston Methodist The Woodlands (Texas) Hospital, a new hospital scheduled to open in 2017.

2. Boston-based Partners HealthCare named Dani Monroe to its newly created position of chief diversity and inclusion officer.

3. Travis Capers was named president of SSM Health's St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis, effective March 28.

4. Mountain View Regional Hospital in Casper, Wyo., appointed Bill Perkins CEO.

5. Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center named Ihor Sawczuk, MD, president.

6. Chicago-based Loyola Medicine named Joshua Lee, MD, vice president and chief health information officer.

7. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health appointed COO Kevin Fusco as acting president and CEO to step in for the late Nabil El Sanadi, MD.

8. Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health Care System named Douglas Browning CFO.

9. Erie County Medical Center Corp. in Buffalo, N.Y., appointed Thomas Quatroche Jr.,PhD, as the corporation's new CEO.

10. Kevin Manemann was named CEO of St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare, one of the largest physician practice management organizations in California.

11. Patty Maysent accepted the position of CEO of UC San Diego Health.

12. Erick Hawkins, CFO of Raleigh, N.C.-based UNC Rex Healthcare, is the third executive from the health system to pack his bags for Orlando, Fla., in the last year. Mr. Hawkins has been appointed senior vice president of strategic management at Orlando Health. 

13. Verdi DiSesa, MD, was named president and CEO of Temple University Hospital, the flagship teaching facility of Temple University Health System, both of which are located in Philadelphia.

14. Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network named Cynthia Hundorfean president and CEO, effective in February.

15. Brandon Williams joined Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., as CFO of the 607-bed full-service acute care hospital.

16. Amanda Dyle was named CFO of Walker Baptist Medical Center, a 267-bed acute care hospital in Jasper, Ala.

17. Patrick Battey, MD, became the sole CEO of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. He began his role Jan. 1, following a year of leading as co-CEO.

18. Englewood (N.J.) Hospital and Medical Center named Mary Ann Donohue-Ryan, PhD, RN, CNO.

19. CHI St. Luke's Health in Houston named Jenny Barnett-Sarpalius CFO of the CHI Texas Division.

20. After nearly two decades with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, J. Gary Seay retired from his position as CIO with the health system.

21. Rose Ann Laureto, CIO of Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica, left ProMedica and will be pursuing new opportunities. Lori Johnston was named as the new CIO.

22. North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas, named Xavier Villarreal CEO.
