Community Health Systems CIO J. Gary Seay retires

After nearly two decades with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, J. Gary Seay retired from his position as CIO with the health system.

Mr. Seay joined Community Health Systems in 1997 and has helped the system implement EHRs in affiliated hospitals and clinics. He retired at the end of 2015.

Assuming the CIO duties is Manish Shah, who also is a senior vice president of Community Health Systems. Prior to joining Community Health Systems in 2013, Mr. Shah was senior vice president at Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care.
