2 PeaceHealth executives step down

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth announced the departure of its system vice president of organizational integrity and compliance officer as well as its system director of risk management.

Gary Chiodo, the organization’s former system vice president of organizational integrity and compliance officer, left to join Portland-based Oregon Health & Science University on a part-time basis, serving as the assistant director of the center for ethics in healthcare. He had been with PeaceHealth for three years, prior to which he worked at Oregon Health & Science University.

Terri Nichols left her position as system director of risk management to “step away from work to focus on family priorities,” a hospital statement notes. She had been with the organization for 15 years, serving in numerous roles, including vice president of quality and risk.
