Most recently, Mr. Cosby served as COO of Doctors Hospital of Augusta (Ga.), another HCA facility. He succeeds Joanna Conley at Poinciana Medical Center, who is leaving to take on the CEO role at HCA’s TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Cosby holds a master of science degree in health administration and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
