Ms. Arias is expected to join GRMC at the end of May. Until then, Interim CEO Alfredo Ontiveros will oversee the medical center.
Ms. Arias was most recently CEO for 48-bed Williamston, N.C.-based Martin General Hospital. She also was previously CNO and interim CEO at Valparaiso, Ind.-based Porter Health Care System.
Ms. Arias earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso and her master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
