14 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Redwood City, Calif.-based Verity Health System tapped Richard Adcock to serve as CEO.

2. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Nemours Foundation, also known as Nemours Children's Health System, announced its President and CEO David J. Bailey, MD, is planning to retire.

3. Chuck Carr, CEO of Lexington, Va.-based Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital, retired.

4. Redwood City, Calif.-based Verity Health System named Mark S. Fratzke, DNP, permanent president and CEO of Seton Medical Center in Daly City, Calif., and Seton Coastside in Moss Beach, Calif.

5. Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth, Neb., appointed Jeanne M. Goche interim CEO.

6. Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, W. Va., selected Christopher Howe, RN, as CEO, effective Jan. 4.

7. Medina, N.Y.-based Orleans Community Health CEO/President Wendy Jacobson resigned.

8. Grangeville, Idaho-based Syringa Hospital and Clinics named Abner King CEO, effective Jan. 9.

9. Eau Claire, Wis.-based HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital President and CEO Julie Manas abruptly departed from her roles.

10. Baton Rouge, La.-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System appointed Michael J. McBride president and CEO, effective Feb. 19.

11. Tom Mee, BSN, president and CEO of McLaren Greater Lansing (Mich.), resigned, effective immediately.

12. Scott H. Perra, president and CEO of Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System, plans to retire, effective June 30, 2019.

13. Britt, Iowa-based Hancock County Health System CEO/Administrator Jeff Stampohar is resigning, effective Jan. 26.

14. West Grove, Pa.-based Jennersville Hospital tapped Ronnie Ursin, DNP, to serve as president and CEO.
