1. CEO Michael Stewart is leaving Barstow (Calif.) Community Hospital on May 27 to become interim COO for DeTar Health System in Victoria, Texas.

2. Mark Rader was named CEO of 317-bed University Hospital and Medical Center in Tamarac, Fla., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA. 

3. David Culberson was named CEO of San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, Calif.

4. CEO Martin Bernstein retired from 49-bed Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent after 27 years.

5. Brian Felici was named CEO of Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, W.Va., effective immediately.

6. Jeffrey Koury was named senior vice president of operations for Tenet’s California region.

7. Henry E. Wells was named interim president and CEO of UA Healthcare in Tucson, Ariz.

8. CEO Bruce Christian resigned from Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta (Calif.).

9. CEO Chris Whybrew was removed from his position at Pauls Valley (Okla.) General Hospital after a joint meeting and executive session between the board and PVGH Trust Authority.

10. CEO Valinda Rutledge will step down from her post at Gastonia, N.C.-based CaroMont Health to serve as director of the Patient Care Models Group at CMS’ new Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.

11. Keith Richardson was named vice president and CFO of Adventist La Grange (Ill.) Memorial Hospital.

12. Dana Bledsoe was named president of Sacred Heart Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Pensacola, part of Pensacola, Fla.-based Sacred Heart Health System.

13. CEO Dennis Sisto will retire from Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, Calif., part of Orange, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health System, on July 31.

14. President and CEO Roy Hitchings will retire from Rockland, Maine-based Pen Bay Healthcare next year.
