10 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center appointed Donovan Blackburn CEO.

2. Russ Collier, CEO of Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center-Marshall (Texas), is retiring, effective Jan. 31.

3. Slidell (La.) Memorial Hospital CEO Bill Davis decided not to renew his contract when it expires at the end of 2018.

4. Olathe (Kan.) Health System President and CEO Frank H. Devocelle is retiring, effective Dec. 31.

5. Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital in Townshend, Vt., a critical access hospital, selected Douglas F. DiVello to serve as CEO, effective Feb. 12.

6. Reginald Eadie, MD, resigned as Regional COO of Detroit Medical Center earlier this week and has now been named president and CEO of Hartford, Conn.-based Trinity Health of New England, effective March 26.

7. Mesquite, Nev.-based Mesa View Hospital CEO Patty Holden is retiring, effective Feb. 15.

8. Larkin Kennedy has been named president and CEO of Meridian, Miss.-based Rush Health Systems, effective Jan. 29.

9. South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Ala., selected Daniel McKinney to serve as CEO, effective March 5.

10. Jim Raggio, CEO of Lompoc (Calif.) Valley Medical Center, is retiring after serving 20 years at the helm of the hospital.
