10 hospital, health system CIO moves so far in 2017

1. Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora tapped Dana Moore to serve as senior vice president and CIO.

2. Children’s Hospital of Orange (Calif.) County tapped John Henderson to serve as vice president and CIO.

3. Cleveland Clinic named Edward Marx its CIO, effective Sept. 1.

4. Oklahoma City-based Integris Health tapped Mark Pasquale to serve as CIO.

5. Birmingham-based Children’s of Alabama named Bob Sarnecki interim CIO.

6. St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare appointed Jerry Fox, Jr., its senior vice president and CIO, effective June 1.

7. North Kansas City (Mo.) Hospital selected Doug Abel to serve as CIO.

8. Akron (Ohio) Children’s Hospital named Harun Rashid vice president and CIO.

9. East Patchogue, N.Y.-based Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center appointed Matthew Peddie CIO.

10. Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health named William Showalter CIO.
