BJC HealthCare names SVP, CIO

St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare appointed Jerry Fox, Jr., its senior vice president and CIO, effective June 1.

Mr. Fox most recently served as global CIO for Rockwell Automation in Milwaukee, where he was responsible for IT strategy and operations. Prior to joining Rockwell, Mr. Fox held roles as chief technology officer and director of global IT operations at Toledo, Ohio-based Dana Corp. and vice president of enterprise IT at Dublin, Ohio-based Cardinal Health.

He will succeed BJC HealthCare’s senior vice president and CIO David Weiss, who is retiring after 27 years with the organization.

Mr. Fox holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration-management information systems from Ohio University in Athens.
