VA awards ManTech $20M contract for health IT support

Herndon, Va.-based ManTech International Corp. won a contract to provide clinical IT specialty support to the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of Information & Technology, Enterprise Program Management Office.

ManTech, a advanced technological services provider to the federal government, will deliver troubleshooting, systems engineering, software development and operational support to the VA’s telemedicine program and VistA Imaging systems. The company won the contract as a subcontractor to Liberty IT Solutions. The base subcontract with options holds a $20 million value for ManTech.

Founded in 1968, ManTech supports more than 50 different government agencies under 1,000 active contracts, including the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security.
