The survey was conducted among 535 online respondents between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 2017.
Here are five things to know from ReportLinker’s survey.
1. Approximately 57 percent of respondents said they’re familiar with wearable devices.
2. Around 40 percent of respondents claimed they have a tracker app on their smartphone.
3. Sixty-one percent of smartwatch owners have an Apple Watch.
4. Approximately 61 percent of respondents said they are not interested in purchasing a smartwatch or fitness tracker within the next year.
5. When asked about their primary concern with wearables, 32 percent of individuals said privacy, 23 percent said health risks and 16 percent said risks of hacking.
