The companies developed solutions that leverage the clinical knowledge and operational data from Hill-Rom’s medical devices, as well as Microsoft’s cloud, including Azure IoT and Azure Machine Learning. The solutions are designed to analyze real-time sensing data from medical devices and EMR information to alert caregivers to potential patient risk.

Data from the Hill-Rom’s medical devices, such as smart hospital bed systems and vital signs monitors, will be integrated with hospitals’ EMRs through a common gateway infrastructure.
