Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health has gone live with Epic’s MyChart Central, a tool that allows patients to securely access their health information from multiple participating systems through a single login.

Sameer Al-Tariq, director of outpatient clinical applications at Jefferson Health, announced the launch on LinkedIn.

“For patients like me who have multiple MyChart accounts across different health systems, this is a game changer,” he wrote. “With MyChart Central, users can securely link all of their MyChart accounts and access them through a single login.”

Jefferson Health joins other systems — including Gainesville, Fla.-based UF Health; New Orleans-based LCMC Health; Hammond, La.-based North Oaks Health System; and Baton Rouge, La.-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System — that have rolled out the new Epic feature. The EHR vendor told Becker’s in September that it had been piloting MyChart Central since August.
