Hospitals, health systems getting new EHRs

Here are 11 hospitals and health systems that have implemented new EHR systems or announced plans to do so since Jan. 6:

  1. Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital Health System is planning to deploy the Oracle Health Foundation EHR across all of its facilities.
  2. Ithaca, N.Y.-based Cayuga Health and Elmira, N.Y.-based Arnot Health joined together earlier this year to form Centralus Health, a partnership focused on transforming healthcare delivery and upgrading technology. The two organizations plan to launch Epic EHR across all locations on March 22.
  3. Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System will integrate Oneida County, N.Y.-based Slocum-Dickson Medical Group into its Community Connect Epic platform.
  4. MyMichigan Medical Centers in Saginaw, Standish and Tawas went live with an Epic EHR system on Feb. 1.
  5. Logan Health – Cut Bank transitioned to Oracle Health EHR system on Feb. 1 as part of a system-wide upgrade by Kalispell, Mont.-based Billings Clinic—Logan Health.
  6. Lexington, Ky.-based UK HealthCare plans to go live with an Epic EHR system in 2026.
  7. Gunnison (Colo.) Valley Health will upgrade to an Epic EHR system in May.
  8. Starkville, Miss.-based OCH Regional Medical Center is launching its new Cerner EHR system on Jan. 27.
  9. Door County (Wis.) Medical Center is transitioning from its current Meditech EHR system to Epic.
  10. Labette Health, based in Parsons, Kan., is launching a unified EHR system with Meditech Expanse.
  11. Uvalde (Texas) Memorial Hospital completed its transition to the latest version of its Meditech EHR system. The hospital upgraded from Meditech 6.08 to Meditech Expanse.
