Nashville, Tenn.-based Ardent Health incurred $1.62 million in Epic expenses during the third quarter of 2025.
The 30-hospital, for-profit system, which is extending the EHR to 18 newly acquired clinics, has spent $2.9 million on Epic during the first nine months of the year, according to the Nov. 12 quarterly earnings report.
That includes $1.5 million in professional fees, $1.3 million in salaries and benefits, and $100,000 in one-time training and onboarding support costs. The expenses don’t include ongoing Epic operating costs.
By comparison, Ardent Health spent $1.5 million on Epic (all for professional fees) in the first nine months of 2024.
