From teaming up with the Trump administration to partnering with the Social Security Administration, here is a look at where EHR giant Epic is extending its partnerships in 2025, as reported by Becker’s:

- In November, Epic and Humana announced a collaboration aimed at making it easier for Medicare Advantage members to check in for their appointments. Under the partnership, both organizations will jointly launch Epic’s coverage finder and digital insurance card features.
- In September, Epic teamed up with the Social Security Administration and Chicago-based Access Community Health Network to make it easier for patients to apply for disability benefits.
- Under a new deal to improve digital connectivity with health systems and other providers, Epic will provide software to Quest Diagnostics. The EHR company inked a deal with the lab giant to implement the Epic Diagnostic Enterprise system across Quest Diagnostics over the next few years.
- Epic Systems is among more than 60 companies partnering with the Trump administration on a federal initiative aimed at improving how patients and providers access and share health data. The project, led by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, seeks to create a “smarter, more secure and more personalized healthcare experience,” according to a July announcement.
- In May, Abbott signed an agreement with Epic to integrate data from its Libre continuous glucose monitoring systems directly into the EHR vendor’s platforms.
