Here are 10 recent health information technology vendor contracts and go-lives affecting healthcare organizations.

1. University Hospital partnered with Hitch Health, a healthcare technology company that seeks to remove ride transportation barriers, to allow patients access to free Lyft rides to and from their appointments at the Newark, N.J.-based health system.

2. Oncology Pathways, a platform developed by Philips and integrating Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's Clinical Pathways decision-making tool, is now live, just over a year after the two organizations announced their partnership.

3. North Carolina's Department of Health and Human Services tapped Phreesia, a New York City-based patient intake software company, to expand the reach of the state's initiative to address social determinants of health.

4. Rolla, Mo.-based Phelps Health plans to deploy an Epic EHR system by late 2020.

5. Grinnell (Iowa) Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health, will go live on an Epic EHR system Sept. 29. 

6. Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System announced a multiyear partnership with Tempus, a Chicago-based biotech startup, to use artificial intelligence to build precision medicine solutions for cardiology.

7. Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health is rolling out new electronic identification technology from CertaScan for newborn patients at Adventist Health Bakersfield (Calif.).

8. Meridian, Miss.-based Rush Health Systems signed a 10-year partnership with New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System to install an Epic EHR.

9. Los Angeles-based Keck Medicine of University of Southern California became one of the first clients to use Cerner's integration with medication management solutions provider DrFirst to leverage California's prescription drug monitoring program.

10. Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare added CancerIQ's genetic screening software to its Epic EHR as part of its population health initiative to better identify and treat cancer.
