Accretive Health renew contract with Ascension, ZirMed launches new solution & more – 8 RCM company key notes

Accretive Health and Ascension in St. Louis completed a transaction that included revising and expanding their existing services agreement for another 10 years. Under the new service contract, Accretive will exclusively provide revenue cycle services and physician advisory services to Ascension’s hospitals.

Evolent Health rolled out a provider-led operating platform for health systems entering into, managing or growing value-based contracts and provider-sponsored health plans.

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions, a provider of revenue cycle management and health information management solutions, was selected to the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ 2016 Global 100 Outsourcing List.

Pamplona Capital Management completed the sale of MedAssets‘ spend and clinical resource management segment. Pamplona sold the segment to Vizient, a member-owned healthcare company. The transaction is the final step in Pamplona’s plan to combine MedAssets’ revenue cycle management segment with Precyse.

Chad McLaughlin joined Medical Billing Experts‘ client-facing management team, bringing more than 20 years of revenue cycle management experience to the billing firm.

Medical Transcription Billing Corp. acquired Gulf Coast Billing, a revenue cycle management company in Houston, as the first of multiple acquisitions to come in 2016.

Tom Furr, CEO of PatientPay, issued a $10,000 billing challenge to providers, physician groups and revenue cycle management companies across the country in an effort to bring attention to the tangible benefits of paperless billing processes.

ZirMed will launch its Remit and Deposit Management solution at the HIMSS 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition.
