“This acquisition presents MTBC with a strategic opportunity to expand our client base in desirable niche specialties, and we expect to identify and close other complimentary acquisitions during 2016,” said MTBC President Stephen Snyder.
GCB currently serves more than 100 practices across various specialties, with a particular focus on intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and surgery. Under terms of the acquisition, MTBC acquired all of GCB’s assets, including customer contracts.
The transaction closed Feb. 16. The amount MTBC paid for the acquisition was not disclosed.
