Parul Bhandari, who has been with the tech giant for more than 20 years, joined the board of the Lincoln, Neb.-based healthcare data analytics company May 19.
“Parul is an accomplished technology leader who brings a wealth of expertise on leveraging data and [artificial intelligence] for positive impact to her new board role,” NRC Health CEO Michael Hays said in a news release.
Ms. Bhandari is currently Microsoft’s director of partner strategy for worldwide media and communications and previously led data and AI for the company’s worldwide public sector department.
“Coming from a technology background, I have a unique understanding of how digital transformation can both positively and negatively impact healthcare,” she said. “Striking just the right balance by using technology that elevates the human element of care delivery is challenging.”
