Set to open in late 2025, the studio will be located on the ground floor of the hospital’s Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion, home to its critical care and specialized inpatient units, according to a Dec. 3 press release.
The studio will feature a glass-enclosed design, allowing patients and visitors to observe live programming. Activities will be broadcast throughout the hospital via a closed-circuit network, ensuring even patients in their rooms can participate. Programming highlights include opportunities for patients to host their own radio and television shows, watch live musical performances, play games, and interview celebrity guests.
Seacrest Studios, an initiative spearheaded by radio and television personality Ryan Seacrest and his family, aim to foster creativity and joy for young patients while also uplifting the hospital’s staff and families. The Miami location will be the 15th Seacrest Studio established nationwide.
