Matthew Godwin, vice president of the life sciences and technology banking group at Wells Fargo, will lead the bank’s technology and life sciences efforts in the Carolinas and will focus on more than 170 companies and 38,000 workers of the Research Triangle Park.
Wells Fargo’s Technology group serves four market segments including:
- Life Sciences — Serving pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare information technology, biotech and diagnostic industries throughout every process.
- Technology — Serving various company sectors including software, hardware/networking, semiconductor, internet/digital media/advertising and payments from inception through commercialization, global expansion and liquidity.
- CleanTech — Serving businesses that make, market or develop environmentally friendly technology products and services.
- Venture Fund Services — Serving technology venture capital and private equity funds with financial solutions.
