Valleywise Health breaks ground on $900M Phoenix medical center

Phoenix-based Valleywise Health broke ground this week on its $900 million medical center in Phoenix, according to AZ Big Media

The  673,000-square-foot, 10-story medical center will house 233 patient rooms, 10 operating rooms, two catheterization labs, two interventional radiology areas and a floor dedicated to the Arizona Burn Center.

The building will be next to Valleywise Health’s current medical center in Phoenix.

The new hospital is slated to open in late 2023.
