New Mexico hospital goes into lockdown during homicide investigation

Albuquerque, N.M.-based Presbyterian Hospital went into lockdown Sunday morning to conduct a homicide investigation, according to KOAT.

The Albuquerque Police were investigating a homicide after a gunshot victim was brought into the hospital’s emergency room, though the shooting did not occur on hospital grounds. Police have no said where the shooting took place.

An official for Presbyterian told Becker’s Hospital Review the lockdown lasted only two hours, and all regular operations were resumed by 1:30 p.m. MST that day.
