Fort Worth, Texas-based JPS Health Network is building a new psychiatric emergency center on its main campus, also in Fort Worth, WBAP reported Nov. 2.
The new facility will be 80,000 square feet and have its own independent drop off stage for police and ambulances. It will add 60 inpatient beds to its psychiatric emergency facility.
The hospital's current psychiatric center is the second busiest in the U.S., according to the news outlet.
It is slated to open in 2025.
