Cherokee Nation breaks ground on $400M new hospital

The Cherokee Nation broke ground on a new $400 million hospital in Tahlequah, Okla.,The Journal Record reported April 6.

The six-story facility will replace the aging W.W. Hasting Hospital. The new hospital will have 127-bed capacity and includes an intensive care unit and emergency room.

It will also feature a connecting bridge to the existing Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center.
