Four things to know:

2. Other hotable highlights include:
- ICU-capable patient rooms
- Surgical suites that support advanced neurological procedures with 360-degree imaging, real-time contrast tracking and streamlined navigation
- Space-saving instrument tables
- Universal power access and integrated lighting
- Built-in streaming technology to support education through Ascension St. Vincent’s neurological surgery residency program
- Design principles to support whole-person healing
3. “This is more than just a new hospital, it’s a transformative investment in our patients and our community,” Stephan Masoncup, chief strategy officer for Ascension St. Vincent, said in the release. “This facility will enable us to deliver the most advanced care for brain and spine conditions, ensuring that children and adults in Indiana and beyond have access to world-class treatment close to home.”
4. The Lucas Family Brain and Spine Hospital is the latest facility to open at Ascension St. Vincent. The eight-story Ascension St. Vincent Women and Infants Hospital in Indianapolis began serving patients in January.
