1. Los Angeles hospital furthers $542M expansion plan
Los Angeles-based Providence Tarzana Medical Center received a key approval from the LA City Council’s Planning and Land Use Management Committee March 21, bringing its $542 million expansion project closer to fruition.
2. Dixie Regional Medical Center launches capital campaign for $300M expansion, consolidation project
St. George, Utah-based Dixie Regional Medical Center, part of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, launched a fundraising campaign March 16 for its $300 million expansion and consolidation project.
3. Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center plans $469M expansion
Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center plans to invest $469 million into a renovation and construction project aimed at modernizing its aging facilities.
4. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital to break ground on $567M medical pavilion
Washington, D.C.-based MedStar Georgetown University Hospital will soon break ground on its 477,000-square-foot, $567 million medical and surgical pavilion.
5. Mercyhealth completes 1st phase of $505M hospital campus
Janesville, Wis.-based Mercyhealth completed the first phase of its $505 million expansion project in Rockford, Ill.
6. St. Jude Children’s to construct $412M research facility
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, based in Memphis, Tenn., plans to construct a $412 million research center to accelerate the pace of discoveries and scientific breakthroughs.
7. Northwestern Medicine to open $399M hospital
Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest (Ill.) Hospital opened its $399 million replacement facility March 3.
8. UC San Francisco to construct $1.5B hospital with support from record $500M donation
UC San Francisco unveiled plans Feb. 8 to construct a $1.5 billion replacement hospital, which will be supported by a record-breaking $500 million commitment.
