Here are five hospitals receiving donations of $10 million or more that Becker’s has reported on since March 16:
- Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia received a $10 million donation from the Gilbert Family Foundation for the study of neurofibromatosis type 1.
- Doylestown (Pa.) Health closed a funding campaign that saw it receive 40,000 gifts totaling $100.3 million.
- Corpus Christi, Texas-based Driscoll Children’s Hospital received a $17 million donation from the Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation to bring in new clinicians for its pediatric patients.
- Film and TV producer Chuck Lorre donated $30 million to Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
- An anonymous donor gave $100 million to New York City-based Montefiore Health System.
